Effective reporting gives confidence
OOS always believes and followa transparency and effective reporting as key components to achieve confidence & comforts from customers. Hence we use online project management tools, which always have current status & progress.
- Document of understanding (DOU): This is a critical document in the initial phase of the project which enables the client and the vendor to be on the same platform as far as understanding and feasibility of the project are concerned.
- Project proposal document: This proposal is prepared out of DOU, which includes detailed Scope the project, Resource Utilization, Project Timeline, deliverables, identifies the milestones, Project methodology and Project costs if required. This document allows for clear understanding of the client and vendor expectations of the project.
- Status reports:
- Daily status report: This report tracks the project on a day-to-day basis. Critical issues and immediate information requirements are also mentioned in this report.
- Weekly report: This is a superset of the above report. This report allows for tracking of events on a weekly basis by project. Critical issues and events of the week gone by and the coming week are given in this report.
- Monthly report: This will give consolidated status of project on a monthly basis.
- Overall project event report. This report defines all the events that took place in the project, their implications with all comments of the project manager.
- Ageing reports: Special automated summary ageing reports for management (OOS and the client) are prepared on various pending issues and with information of various time intervals and dates. These reports are customizable, allowing the managers on both sides to keep track of the project and need for any urgent action or intervention.
- Quality assessment report: This is a very important report for the management. report analyses the various issues, which came up in the overall project life cycle and its classification into predetermined categories. This allows the management on both sides to understand the areas that need more attention and improvement.
- There are a number of other reports and documents, which are available to the client either on request or through the information tracking system. All reportings are generated based on the role of the resource in the project cycle.
