Software Development is a continuous learning process. Resources at OOS are actively and financially encouraged to enhance their expertise & Productivity. Some of the steps taken are given below:
- Einstein (scientist) Group: is nothing but Research & Development group. The resources of this group are involved in continuously upgrading in-house libraries, developing new classes and solve technical problems of the production teams.
- Internet Forum participation allows us to access to some of the best brains in the industry and reduces problem-solving time
- In-house Workshops and Seminars are held every fortnight where information is shared and discussed
- Weekly presentations to make them more confident & presentable to customers; it also allows each team member to keep in touch with new developments and technologies.
All new resources at OOS have to undergo three level training, Induction Training, Project Methodology Training and Client Communication Training, then candidate is eligible for Technical Training if he/she requires. Training is handled by Internal Faculties & project managers. Internally Developed training modules are mentioned below:
- Resource expertise evaluation module
- Tool usage culminating with test application development
- Application Frameworks and Development methodologies
- Quality management and Standardization
- Offshore development and its peculiar management and administrative requirements
- Communications protocol, etiquette and methodologies
Resources are accepted into the organization on successful completion of training program and achieve a certain degree of competence in terms of technology, Project management & Communications.
